For over 30 years, I’ve dedicated my life to helping people achieve the goals they seek…
When I am not working as a psychotherapist I enjoy mountain biking and snowboarding. I began mt biking and snowboarding in the mid 80’s. I moved to Colorado from North Dakota for graduate school attending UNC in Greeley and fell in love with the mountains that have been my home and joy ever since. I taught sociology at UNC, AIMS community college, and Mesa State College over the years. A perspective I bring to my work is that mistakes both personally and professionally do not have to be who you are, but lessons that if learned can assist in the formation of the tools to use toward our authentic and higher self.

As a former military personnel with friends and family who actively serve as first responders, this is an area of passion for me in therapy. My experience with others in these positions helps me be a better ally and collaborator as we ameliorate the mental effects of working in difficult situations and environments.

In recent years, couples therapy has become one of my favorite areas of work. As a couple improves communication, conflict resolution skills, depth of intimacy, and awareness of each other, it’s rewarding to witness relationships that become greater than the sum of their parts.

In-person only, this session helps alleviate pain and treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions.

I offer a safe and confidential environment for exploration, growth, and authenticity in the area of men’s issues.
